MU Reject Lend Macheda to Wolverhampton - Wolverhampton apparently had tried to borrow the young Manchester United striker Federico Macheda in the last moments of the transfer market last summer but rejected by the Red Devils. Wolverhampton coach Mick McCarthy was known to want to strengthen the sector of attack. The Express & Star last week claimed McCarthy had approached Chelsea to borrow Macheda.

Unfortunately McCarthy wishes unfulfilled. Wolverhampton Manchester United rejected the offer to borrow the Italian players aged 20 years. Manchester United coach Sir Alex Ferguson is only willing to lend Macheda to the club that can provide assurance that the former Lazio player will always be a starter. However Wolerhampton failed to give such guarantees. After failing to get Macheda, McCarthy had tried to recruit Daryl Murphy. But it is also doomed to failure because the player instead to join Ipswich.
